Now, let me introduce myself. My name is Yuri Ivanets.
I live in Academgorodok (city of Novosibirsk), a scientific centre of
Siberia. I've been organizing touristic programs in the Altai mountains
since 1999. I work with experienced drivers, who know mountain paths of
the Altai mountains in detail, and with experienced instructors. I confide
the work with tourists only to professionals who have good recommendations
and who turned out to be very efficient. The majority of groups I accompany
in person. In 1990-1992 I worked in the Organizing Committee of the International
Scientifc Conference "Altai-Himalayas" and I was organizing
journeys about the Altai mountains ofgroups consisting of more than 200
participants of the Conference: the Russians, the Americans, the Mexicans,
the Italians, the Indians, the Cubans, the Poles, and the Swiss. By my first diploma I'm a musician. In 1986 I've graduated from the Novosibirsk
Concervatory in the speciality "Russian folksinstruments. In my spare
time I teach playing balalaika at musical school № 10 in the city of Novosibirsk
(Academgorodok). I also study the history of Russian folksinstruments
(my book "Balalaika in the history and in the culture of Russia"
is being prepared for printing). In 1976-1993 I dedicated myself to concert
performances as a balalaika solo player and I was also a director of a
Russian folksmusic orchestra of amateurs and a director of a symphonic
orchestra of amateurs. According to my second diploma which I received
at the Novosibirsk State University I am a psychologist, my specialization
is "Body Oriented Psychoteraphy". My diploma entitles me to
give psychologic consultations. I'm a member of the International Slavonic Academy of Sciences, Arts,
Education and Culture and a member of the Russian Geographic Society. Excursion bureau "Altaika"
